Well, I’ve already started back up where I left off, and it’s getting better compared to when I started. It’s a lot more interesting at this point…
And I totally understand… there’s a book, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, that I tried to get through but couldn’t finish. Great story, but way too dense with overinformation and overcomplicated words.
I used to be stubborn about finishing any book I started, but I’ll never get that time back. So now I give it 30 or 40 pages. If I’m not hooked by then, I won’t be.
Only if it’s good. You don’t get points at the end for forcing yourself to stick it out with books that do not interest you.

This is true.
I finished it the other day… The other half was actually really good, and the ending was fulfilling.
