Be glad. Be good. Be brave. – Eleanor Porter
It’s simple to be glad, as long as one is getting whatever they want in life.
It’s simple to do good deeds while conforming to standards of those around you.
It’s simple to tell someone to be brave. It’s simple to pretend to be brave, because one may have others to impress or intimidate.
Yet, the real bravery comes when one is living by their own individual creed, without outside influence. Actual bravery is being true to your feelings and beliefs, whether outspoken or silent.
It comes when one says NO is a YES world. It comes in the form of brutal honesty, the sharp knife slicing through the thick skin of deceit.
