Howl at the Moon

“Follow your inner moonlight; don’t hide the madness.” – Allen Ginsberg

I kinda feel the above quote applies only to those brave enough to wear their heart on their sleeve, because that’s what’s somehow required to produce quality or, at least, decent writing. Or anything involving creativity.

I’d like to assume I somewhat follow this advice in my writing — and in my several parallel universes — but not so much  in everyday life. So many things I tend to keep to myself due to concern of what others will think, that such things I want to discuss may be too taboo for many.

This spills into general curiosity of everyday life. I keep certain questions to myself for fear of someone calling me stupid, ignorant, etc. Yet it’s obvious those doing the name-calling do so to make themselves more appealing, smarter, better.

It does none of those things, so spare yourselves the embarrassment.

In the meantime, I’ll either keep these questions to myself or ask my parallel universe selves. They understand more so than others…

Sad that paper can’t talk back…
